Ring handmade from the prong of an antique 800 silver fork and set in silver with a red microplastic collected from the coast of Menorca.<\/p>\n
It is a unisex design that looks good on both men and women, within the range of sizes available, as the ring is not soldered and I can make it larger, but it would remain open. The size of the ring as you see it in the photos is a size 17. But as I just mentioned, if you need a larger size, I could open it up, and if you prefer this design in another microplastic colour, I can make it to order.<\/p>\n
It has a matte finish, so if you want your ring to be shiny, please mention this when placing your order.<\/p>\n
It is a design created with great awareness, love and respect for the sea, the oceans and their life. That is why I think collecting the non-natural waste that ends up there and transforming it into jewellery is a wonderful idea to raise awareness about this huge problem that affects not only the Mediterranean Sea.<\/p>\n
The tone of the recycled and recovered silver from an old fork, which now gives life to a ring, combines beautifully with the intense red of the microplastic setting, making this a piece of jewellery with great symbolism and meaning.<\/p>\n
