It is a design created with great awareness, love and respect for the sea, the oceans and their life. That is why I think collecting the non-natural waste that ends up there and transforming it into jewellery is a wonderful idea to raise awareness about this huge problem that affects not only the Mediterranean Sea.<\/p>\n
The colour of the recycled and recovered teaspoons used to create these earrings combines beautifully with the green of the microplastics set in them, making this a piece of jewellery with great symbolism and meaning.<\/p>\n
It is a unique piece created with awareness and presence, a piece of jewellery as unique as you are, whose design is inspired by the strength symbolised by the oceans. That is why 5% of all the designs I have combining recycled antique cutlery with microplastics will be donated to marine associations on the island.<\/p>\n
