Handcrafted ring made from the handle of an antique silver-plated dessert cutlery piece, twisted into a spiral. This same design is also available with a pointed finish. Both are original and unique designs. As they are handmade, each piece has something that makes it special and unique, whether it be the details of the cutlery itself, the twist, or the length of the reused handle.
In fact, some models of this design feature a small insignia with the initials of the family to whom they belonged, or a detail of a line in El Centro, but not all of them have this feature... others are plain. If you prefer one model over another, you can specify this when placing your order.
The name of this ring model is KUNDALA, which means “coiled” or spiral. In Hindu tradition, this goddess awakens and begins to rise, chakra by chakra, until she reaches the crown at the top of the skull. As she passes through each chakra, she awakens the corresponding region, and when the journey is complete, it is said that the subject has attained complete enlightenment.
This design has a matte finish, so if you want your ring to be shiny, please mention this when placing your order. This ring is made of nickel silver, a material whose alloy of copper, zinc and nickel gives it a more greyish tone than silver. Some people may be allergic to nickel silver when it comes into contact with their skin due to the nickel content of this material, so if this is the case, I recommend choosing another material such as silver.
If you would prefer to obtain this design by reusing another type of fork made from a different material or one belonging to your family, place a custom order and we will carry it out together.
