Handcrafted ring made from the handle of an antique 800 silver dessert cutlery piece, twisted in an original and unique way. This ring also features a silver setting with a microplastic stone, making it a unique and special amulet. A ring full of symbolism with a very clear meaning: love for the seas and oceans. As it is created in a spiral shape, the size can be adjusted, with size 14 being the one you see in the images.

This ring was created based on a design in which the part where the microplastic is soldered and set rests on the end of the recycled spoon handle, where the floral details of the recycled and recovered cutlery itself end. In addition, this ring is created with a cutlery handle that has beautiful details on both sides. The Sakura model can be found in a whale bracelet and the ring without microplastic.

As they are handmade, all pieces have something that makes them special and unique, whether it be the details of the cutlery, the twist that has been given to it, or the texture of the silver, as some pieces of jewellery have certain textures that are created when the material is subjected to high temperatures. In this case, the design of the ring has quite a few details, as you can see in the product images, and a little bit of texture, and the finish is matte.

This ring is a design created with great awareness, love and respect for the sea, the oceans and their life. That is why I think collecting the non-natural waste that ends up there and transforming it into jewellery is a wonderful idea to raise awareness about this huge problem that affects not only the Mediterranean Sea.

The matte silver tone and filigree details of the recycled cutlery itself combine elegantly with the black microplastic setting, making this a piece of jewellery with great symbolism and meaning.

That is why all of my 5% designs, which combine recycled antique cutlery with microplastics, will be donated to marine associations on the island.
